The Junior Software Designer independently develops and manages projects with a medium-low degree of complexity, also collaborating on projects of a higher degree of complexity, coordinated in this case by a senior software designer, in order to achieve total customer satisfaction.
The main activities of this professional role will be:
- Design and operationally test the orders received
- Plan customer-related activities and cost implications
The Junior Software Designer must communicate and interact constantly with the Senior Software Designer and the department manager.
The skills needed to perform this role consist of the knowledge of basic software design techniques and a familiarity with the main development tools related to PLC and HMI design of the most commonly used brands (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, etc.).
He/she must know how to work in a team and have problem-solving skills.
Additional information
Previous experience in the plant engineering or/and automatic machines sector and knowledge of the main design tools for PLC and HMI are required. Willingness to travel for commissioning activities is required.
Foreign languages
Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
The Senior Software Designer develops and manages highly complex projects, either independently or more often by coordinating a development team in all project phases, from design to commissioning, in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction.
The main activities of this professional role will be:
- Design and operationally test the orders received
- Plan customer-related activities and cost implications
- Coordinate team members assigned to the project
The Senior Programmer must communicate and interact constantly with all company functions, particularly with the department manager. This role requires many skills spanning several fields. The Senior Programmer must have specialized skills in design techniques, as well as in-depth knowledge of the characteristics of the products they handle.
The significant skills required include the ability to set and manage budgets, contribute to setting sales targets, as well as organize and supervise the work of the entire staff performing the activities under his/her responsibility.
He/she must know how to motivate his/her associates and work in a team and must have problem-solving skills.
Additional information
3 to 5 years of experience in the plant engineering or/and automatic machines sector and knowledge of the main design tools for PLC and SCADA is required. Willingness to travel for commissioning activities is required.
