The Junior Software Designer develops and manages projects with a medium-low degree of complexity independently, also collaborating on more complex projects, coordinated in this case by a senior software designer, in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

The main activities of this professional figure will be:

  • Designing and testing the assigned tasks operationally
  • Planning customer activity with the related cost implications

The Junior Software Designer must constantly communicate and interact with the Senior Software Designer and the department manager.

The necessary skills for the role include knowledge of basic software design techniques as well as familiarity with the main development tools related to PLC and HMI design of the most commonly used brands in the industry (Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, Omron, etc.).

Able to work in a team and oriented towards problem-solving.

Additional Information

Previous experience in the plant engineering sector and/or automatic machines and knowledge of the main design tools for PLC and HMI are required. Availability to travel for commissioning activities is necessary.

Foreign Languages

Good written and spoken English knowledge.

The Senior Software Designer develops and manages projects with a high degree of complexity independently or more often by coordinating a development team in all its phases, from design to commissioning, in order to achieve complete customer satisfaction.

The main activities of this professional figure will be:

  • Designing and testing the assigned tasks operationally
  • Planning customer activity with the related cost implications
  • Coordinating the team members assigned to the project

The Senior Software Designer must constantly communicate and interact with all company functions and particularly with the department manager. The necessary skills for the role are manifold and span different fields. They must have specialist skills in design techniques, as well as an in-depth knowledge of the characteristics of the products they deal with.

Additionally required are notable skills, such as the ability to determine and manage budgets, contribute to defining commercial objectives, and organize and supervise the work of the entire staff responsible for the activities under their competence.

Able to motivate their collaborators, work in a team, and is oriented towards problem-solving.

Additional Information

Experience from 3 to 5 years in the plant engineering sector and/or automatic machines and knowledge of the main PLC and SCADA design tools is required. Availability to travel for commissioning activities is necessary.

Foreign Languages

Excellent written and spoken English knowledge.
